QM PURCHASE ORDER REQUIREMENTS

Due to the new requirements of EN9120, the following requirements apply with immediate effect for any orders on the part of PKS:

  1. If the supplier notices that faulty products were sent, he is obliged to inform PKS immediately in written form.

  1. If the supplier makes changes to the product / process / supplier / production plant which modify the product features, the supplier is obliged to inform PKS immediately in written form. Furthermore, the supplier is obliged to apply these requirements to his suppliers and provide the respective proof on request.

  1. The supplier obliges to keep quality related documents (contract review, audit evidence, test instructions, certificate of conformity) for at least 10 years.

  1. After written notice, PKS has the right to perform system, process and product audits to ensure that quality requirements are complied with.

PKS reserves the right to also audit subcontractors of the supplier. This, however, does not release the supplier from his responsibility for his subcontractors. Within reasonable extent, the supplier therefore grants PKS and/or their clients as well as regulatory authorities (space and aviation sector) access to his premises, respectively his subcontractors’ premises, as well as inspection of all documents relevant to the contractual object. The audit’s results shall be documented by PKS in an audit report. Audit objections are to be processed within the agreed deadline and to be forwarded to PKS immediately after completion and without request. Should additional expenses incur for PKS due to negligence of the supplier, these incurred costs shall be reimbursed to PKS by the supplier.

  1. Should individual terms be or become invalid or impracticable, this shall not affect the validity of the agreement as a whole. The remaining terms shall not be affected and remain valid.
